photo gallery

I have finally decided to put a serious gallery plugin on this blog.

Right now my photos are lost among a lot of posts, and I have no way to offer a professional look to my photography. After watching in pain a few colleagues searching for my ‘best of’ photos in order to decorate their homes, I realized how terribly awkward is to have a bird’s eye view of my best work.

Even I, if I decide to have a quick look at some of my photos, find it easier to go to Picasa. This is not acceptable for a site dedicated to photography and travel.

I’m looking for a plugin that offers easy upload or import from popular online storage places, that allows comments per photo, maybe watermarking, EXIF extraction and some sort of rating system. Of course a view count per picture and ‘share this picture’ would be helpful. I know that I could do this by inserting each photo in a separate post, but I think my RSS subscribers will be driven insane.
