Live From Buena Vista – The Havana Lounge

Went Saturday night with friends to a beautiful concert of Cuban music. Despite my coughing and sneezing I felt very good – so good in fact that after the concert I was really considering going to Salsa club…

All the famous songs were of course present – Guantanamera, Chan Chan, and others which I did not remember 🙂
My only complaint is the location – which might be ok for a classical concert….but not for latin music.
It was extremely awkward to dance, and the singers where not making things easier as the continuously pushed us to stand up and dance to the music.
I’m curious how a concert like this would be at a more suitable location.

All in all – a very nice evening.
